While staying at the Whale Watch Motel, you can arrange a tour boat with Captain Riddle and East Quoddy tours to view the whales in season as they run the Bay of Fundy and Gulf of Maine waters (In the summer months). You will also see seals, eagles, porpoises, herring weirs, seabirds and lighthouses!

Directions to the Island
From New Brunswick:
Leave Route 1 at St. George, NB and take Route 172 to L'etete, NB, Where free government ferries leave for Deer Island from 7am to 10pm daily (A.D.T) The last trip weather permitting
From Maine: Cross the Roosevelt International Bridge in Lubec with a passport or ID and birth certificate.
